Refund and Returns Policy

Returns, Refunds & Exchange Policy

We appreciate that you want to shop with the confidence of knowing that if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase of bedding & dinnerware, you can return the product. We will refund any item* you are not completely happy with when you return it to us in a saleable- unopened condition within 14 working days of the item being dispatched from our distribution center (excluding the original freight charge).

Any bedding & dinnerware products on SALE or CLEARANCE are not refundable or exchangeable. Any product that is being returned simply because the customer changed their mind is non-refundable or exchangeable. Please choose carefully.

Color Policy

We photograph most of our products in-house and some by professional photographers, and work very hard to make sure that images are color correct. Unfortunately, colors and intensity of colors can vary greatly from screen to screen and we cannot be held responsible for these variations. Hence, they are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, DAMAGED, or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Please return the item in its original condition, unused, in its original packaging, with product tags and any other security devices still attached. The Homeware reserves the right to decline to issue a refund if the item is not returned in its original condition. This policy applies to all purchases made online from The Homeware.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@thehomeware.co.nz. If your return is accepted, you are responsible for the associated costs to return the product back to us, The Homeware will not be responsible for items if not received in case you attempt to send them via non-registered mail. Please note that The Homeware is not responsible for any returned item that is misplaced before it reaches our distribution center. The Homeware will not be responsible for any costs incurred in returning the item. All return items sent back to our distribution center will be added in the form of a credit to your The Homeware account which you may use for your future purchases.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. You can always contact us for any returns-related questions at info@thehomeware.co.nz

Shipping Policy

All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). You will receive a confirmation that your order has been successfully placed and a text or email once dispatched with a tracking number to assist in checking the progress of the delivery. The standard shipping time is up to 3 – 7 business days, orders from regional areas may take additional 5-7 business days.
